A well-loved Western hat often carries more than just wear and age—it carries memories, experiences, and a history of its own. I take pride in giving treasured hats a new lease on life. Whether your hat has lost its shape, needs cleaning and conditioning, requires stiffening, or simply needs to be brought back to its former appearance, each hat is carefully assessed and restored with attention to its individual character and condition.
My goal is not simply to make an old hat look new, but to preserve what makes it special while restoring its shape, structure, and appearance.
Heavily stained hats—including blood stains, ink, severe discoloration, sun damage, heavy sweat, or mold—cannot be guaranteed to return to original condition. In these cases, I will not compromise the integrity of the hat in an attempt to remove stains. Clients are welcome to email photos for evaluation prior to sending a hat. In some cases, the best solution may be the creation of a replica replacement hat.
I believe a good hat deserves to be enjoyed for many years, and whenever possible, I work to extend the life of a well-made hat rather than see it forgotten or discarded. Whether it's a hat you've worn for decades or a family heirloom passed down to you, I treat every restoration with the care and respect it deserves.

It's not only about selling someone one of my fine hats, but also too, if you have a favorite hat that you just can't part with or a father or grandfathers' hat that you want restored to wear. I'm 100% on board with that. Or if you want a replica of an heirloom hat. let's have a discussion.
Price for a restoration includes re-blocking, cleaning, new sweat band, new liner and most of all loving care and respect for your hat. $355.00 per hat.
